Midist’s debut 7-track EP Near Field is a collection of moments that reflect on experiences before and during isolation. Combining elements of techno, house and pop music and composed entirely on hardware, the songs attempt to describe “the importance of our connections to each other, the deterioration of those connections and the resolve we find in ourselves”.
